In this way, people will notice their sad feelings and they will be able to deal with it.

Positive psychology: Positive psychology aims to give more to people than just relieving depression. It teaches them to cultivate habits which are best within them so that the people can achieve the best things in their life. According to positive psychology keeping a gratitude diary, performing small acts of kindness etc can improve wellbeing.

Psychotherapies: In psychotherapy, the therapist builds a strong bond with the patient. By this the therapist gets to know the past events in the patient’s life and he will know how the past events have led to the current depression. The patient is made to understand the link in between the past and present. This will reduce the depression and will prevent depression in the future.
