Ways to Trick Yourself into a Morning Workout

Starting your day with morning workouts may help you to reduce your desire to ingest excessive calories throughout the day, lose more fat, lower your blood pressure and can help you to have a good sleep at night. Mornings are tough, particularly if you’re not in the habit of being an early riser. But because of your busy work, social schedule and family sometimes early mornings are the only times you have free to have a little alone time.


We’ve all know about practical advice like “put your alarm clock on the other side of the room so you have to get up!”  or “lay out your workout clothes the night before”. But it turns out your mind can be one of your strongest allies when it comes to molding yourself into a complete morning person. Following ways to make yourself a morning person will help you change the way, you think about early hours, no matter how much you dislike them.

Get your clothes ready- Sleep in your workout clothes so all you have to do is brush your teeth, wash your face, get your butt in the car and just go. If sleeping in your workout tank is not up your alley, at least pack your gym bag the night before.

Keep your finger off the snooze button- Set your alarm clock and put it on the opposite side of the room so that when it goes off in the morning, you’ll have to get up out of the bed and turn it off

Eat a smart dinner- Avoid eating heavy meals too late at night, Digestion takes about six to eight hours so last night’s big meal may still be sitting in your stomach the next morning;

Prep your tech- Make sure the electronics you use during your workout are fully charged, such as wireless iphone or earphone that helps you have a more productive workout.

Optimize your sleep- Try to go to bed at the same time every night, including weekends;

Get your breakfast ready- If you want to eat something before workout, make it at night and have it ready to go so you aren’t spending time cooking in the morning.

Preregister for a class- Place your morning workouts in your calendar as an appointment with yourself to better yourself.

Commit to a workout buddy - Pairing up with a pal to hit a pre-work Pilates class can be fun.
